Render Service — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the HTML rendering service (the "Service"), operated by MarketFresh Studios ("we", "us"), receives and how we handle it. The Service is used only by the rendering features of the AI & HTML Import for Elementor WordPress plugin (the "Plugin").

What the Service receives

When you use a rendering feature, your WordPress site sends us:

  • The content you are importing — either the URL you entered, or the HTML contents of the file you uploaded/pasted for rendering.
  • Your site's address — sent in a request header, used only to apply the one-free-conversion-per-site allowance and to meter usage.
  • Your license key, if you have one — sent in a request header, used only to verify that your license is active and to meter usage.
  • Standard request metadata — such as the requesting IP address and timestamp, which any web service receives, used for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.

The Service does not receive your WordPress username or password, your database, your site's other content, your customers' data, or any personal data beyond what is described above.

How we use it

  • The submitted URL/HTML is used solely to perform the rendering you requested and return the result to your site.
  • Your site's address and license key are used solely to authenticate and meter your request (including the free allowance).
  • Request metadata is used solely to operate and protect the Service (security, rate-limiting, diagnosing errors).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your submitted content for advertising or to train any model.

Retention

  • Submitted content (URL/HTML): processed in memory to fulfill the request and not retained after the render completes. The service does not write the submitted URL or HTML to a database, and does not log the request body.
  • Metering records: we retain two small counters, neither of which contains any of your page content:
    • a per-site count of free conversions used, stored against your site's address so the one-free-conversion allowance can be applied. This is a running total and is kept for as long as the allowance applies.
    • a per-licence monthly render count, used to enforce your plan's quota. It contains only your licence key, the month, and a number, and expires automatically about 40 days after that month ends.
  • Server logs: standard operational logs (including IP and timestamp) are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics, then rotated/deleted.

Where it is processed (subprocessors)

  • The Service runs on Fly.io (hosting/infrastructure). Your submitted content is processed on Fly.io infrastructure to perform rendering.
  • Licensing and billing for the Plugin are handled by Freemius, our license and checkout provider. Freemius receives your license/purchase details (not the content you render). See Freemius's own privacy policy for how they handle purchase data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below. Because we do not retain the content you submit, most such requests concern your license/metering records.

Security

We transmit requests over HTTPS and render submitted markup in an isolated browser context that cannot read the render server's files or reach internal networks. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the data described here.

Children

The Service is a professional tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes are reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
